Benjamin Michael Stanley Fairclough (born April 18, 1989 ) is an English football player . With Notts County he played in Football League One in 2010/11 . He is currently under contract with Lincoln United .
Career
In his youth, Fairclough played for Nottingham Forest , where he also spent his first year as a professional. After a friendly, he moved to local rivals Notts County , which impressed his performance. His debut for Nott County took place on August 12, 2008 in a cup game against the Doncaster Rovers . In 2009 he was loaned to Ilkeston Town for a short time . In the following seasons, Fairclough played with Notts County in Football League One and Football League Two . On May 10, 2010 it was announced that it was released along with 7 other players. After four months as a clubless player, he moved to Hinckley United . On March 5, 2011, he was loaned to Rocester FC . In his position on the right wing, Fairclough played a total of 74 games in which he scored 8 goals.
Despite being popular with Rocester fans, he moved to Eastwood Town . In one season there he was never used and finally moved again.
Boston United
In September 2011 he moved to Boston United . After a bad start, he became a fan favorite. Fairclough scored 9 goals in 89 games. During his three years he was briefly loaned to Grantham Town . After the loan ended, he returned to Boston United.
In 2015 he moved to Mickleover Sports , in August of the same year to Belper Town . On August 20, he made his debut for Belper Town against Carlton Town . Still, he made the third move in 2015, this time to Lincoln United . He largely missed the 2016/17 season due to an injury, and was used for at least three May in the following season.

Fairclough is the nephew of defense attorney Chris Fairclough and a cousin of youth player Jordan Fairclough .
