Ben Vatter

Ben Vatter (born 1971 in Bern ) is a Swiss music teacher and choir director who is also active as a comedian and songwriter on Bärndütsch .

biography

Ben Vatter comes from a musical family. His mother is a piano teacher, his father an active cellist. Vatter attended the Bern Jazz School and studied higher education. He teaches at the Berner Gymnasium Kirchenfeld . He is also active as a comedian with songs written and arranged by himself in Bern German. In his song Uf der Suechi nach ere Bratwurscht (In Search of a Bratwurst), he ironically ironizes the desperation of Bernese German. He published a Mani Matter songbook . The six-part TV series choir on parole of the Swiss television worked a group of male residents of the youth center Aarburg and female adolescents from a Bernese school under his leadership as "mutigster choirmaster Switzerland".

He also puts rhyme schemes for his songs on the Internet.
