Benedict Dotu Sekey

Benedikt Dotu Sekey (born August 10, 1940 in Accra ; † December 13, 2000 ) was a Ghanaian clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Gbarnga .

Life

Benedict Dotu Sekey received on 20 August 1967, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On November 17, 1986, Pope John Paul II appointed him the first bishop of Gbarnga. John Paul II donated him episcopal ordination on January 6, 1987 ; Co-consecrators were the substitute of the Vatican Secretariat of State , Curia Archbishop Eduardo Martínez Somalo , and the secretary of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples , Archbishop Curia José Sánchez .
