Marcel Bam'ba Gongoa

Marcel Bam'ba Gongoa (* 1926 in Benge ; † September 17, 1998 ) was a Congolese clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Bondo .

Life

Marcel Bam'ba Gongoa received on 21 April 1953, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On January 28, 1980, Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Bondo. John Paul II donated him episcopal ordination on May 4th of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Prefect of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples , Cardinal Agnelo Rossi , and the Archbishop of Kinshasa , Cardinal Joseph-Albert Malula .

Bam'ba Gongoa resigned as Bishop of Bondo on November 13, 1992.
