Beniamino Pizziol
Beniamino Pizziol (born June 15, 1947 in Cavallino-Treporti ) is Bishop of Vicenza .
Life
The Patriarch of Venice , Albino Luciani , ordained him a priest on December 3, 1972 . Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on January 5, 2008 auxiliary bishop in Venice and titular bishop of Aemona .
The Patriarch of Venice , Cardinal Angelo Scola , ordained him episcopal on February 24 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Marco Cardinal Cé , Patriarch Emeritus of Venice, and Eugenio Ravignani , Bishop of Trieste . As a motto he chose Deus Caritas est .
He was named Bishop of Vicenza on April 16, 2011, and was introduced to the office on June 19 of the same year.
