Benjamin Schwarz (translator)
Benjamin Schwarz (born June 18, 1937 in Bernstadt in Silesia ; actually Dieter Schwarz ) is a German translator .
He studied German and art in Göttingen and Berlin . He then worked at the Free University of Berlin and has been a German translator for, among others, Douglas Adams , Woody Allen , David Bergen , Melvin Jules Bukiet , Andre Dubus , William Kotzwinkle , Tom Sharpe , Edmund White and Tom Wolfe since 1975 . Schwarz lives in Berlin.
