Benjamin Trautvetter (born March 28, 1985 in Eisenach ) is a former German handball player .
Career
Benjamin Trautvetter started with handball in his youth at ThSV Eisenach . In 2004 he moved to the second division HSG Niestetal-Staufenberg . The 1.90-meter-tall runner played there for two years, then returned to Eisenach. With the ThSV he was promoted to the first Bundesliga in 2013 . After the direct relegation, the direct relegation followed in 2015. After the 2016/17 season, Trautvetter switched to the 2nd team from ThSV, where he also worked as an assistant coach. From the summer of 2018 he played for the upper division HSV Apolda . In 2019 he left Apolda and has been working as a selection coach for the Thuringian Handball Association since then . Since November 2019 he has been active at HSC Bad Neustadt both as an assistant coach and as a player.
