Benno Löbmann

Benno Löbmann (born April 10, 1914 in Callenberg ; † July 29, 1991 in Augsburg ) was a German Roman Catholic clergyman and canon lawyer .

Life

Löbmann received in the July 31, 1938 Schirgiswalde the sacrament of Holy Orders .

1953 began his academic teaching activity as a lecturer for canon law at the Philosophical-Theological Study in Erfurt (today Catholic-Theological Faculty of the University of Erfurt ). With the dissertation The canonical Infamiebegriff in its historical development: With special reference to Infamielehre of Franz Suarez he received his doctorate in 1956 , Dr. iur. can. In 1962 he was appointed professor of canon law in Erfurt, where he taught until his retirement in 1979.
