Bent Jacobsen

Bent Jacobsen is a Danish musician and LGBT activist.

Jacobsen came in 1972 in the Freetown Christiania incurred Lesbian and Gay Organization Bøssernes Befrielsesfront , where he tried to inspire other members for a music project. After being a singer on Benny Holst's record Den sidste olie , he recorded the solo album Bøsse in 1975 , for which he was able to win the musicians Anders Koppel , Niels Tuxen, Kasper Winding and Jens Rugsted from The Savage Rose as studio musicians.

He appeared in 1977 as a member of the Krautrock band Warmer Südwind . Since 1997 he has been a member of the a cappella group Schwanzen Sänger Knaben , with whom he tours Europe.

Bøsse

Bøsse (German gay ) was published in 1975 by the radical left publisher Demos with the label code DEMOS 24. In the lyrics of the album, homophobia , heterosexism , the gay scene and how the family and society deal with homosexuality and gender roles are discussed for the first time, which is why the album is considered a milestone in the Danish gay movement. For the fortieth anniversary of the "gay house" (Danish Bøssehuset ) in Christiania, the album was reissued on CD in 2011.
