Benthamiella lanata is a plant type from the genus Benthamiella in the family of the nightshade family (Solanaceae).
description
Benthamiella lanata is a Chamaephyte , the leaves of which are 6 to 8.5 mm long and 0.5 mm wide. The leaf margin is woolly hairy with the exception of the tip. The calyx is about 4 mm long, its shape is tubular to almost bell-shaped. The edge is hairy with trichomes similar to those of the leaf edge. The crown is about 7 to 8.5 mm long and also tubular to almost bell-shaped. The five stamens are bifurcated or identical, they do not protrude beyond the crown. The stamens are hairless, they start at different heights, but always in the upper half of the corolla tube. The ovary has only a stunted nectarium , the stylus does not protrude beyond the crown.
distribution
The species can be found along the Gulf of San Jorge , in Chubut and sporadically in the province of Última Esperanza .
