The Bergseeli is a small mountain lake above the Splügen Pass in the canton of Graubünden in Switzerland .

The lake is located in a mountain hollow 280 meters above the pass at an altitude of 2311  m above sea level. M. in the area of ​​the community Rheinwald . Two kilometers from the rises in the west Surettahorn ( 3026  m above sea level. M. ).

The Bergseeli can be easily reached in half an hour from the top of the pass via a marked hiking trail. The path continues steeply over large boulders to Lake Azzurro , which can be reached in another half an hour. The difference in altitude is a good 120 meters. Lago Azzurro is already on Italian soil.

Inflow and outflow

The Bergseeli is fed by a nameless stream from the western flank of the Inner Schwarzhorn and other small tributaries from the hollow in which it is located. The runoff takes place in a north-westerly direction into the valley of the Hüscherabach , which rises several hundred meters north of the Bergseelis.
