Jordi Camell (* 1959 in Llorenç del Penedès ) is a Catalan classical pianist and music teacher. Camell is assigned to the Catalan School of Pianists .

life and work

Camell was trained as a pianist at the Conservatories in Tarragona, Barcelona, ​​Paris (Diplôme Supérieur d'Exécution com a premier nommé at the École Normale de Musique de París 1984) and London.

Camell strives to constantly develop new repertoires. That is why he took part in the Conjunts de música contemporània Barcelona 216 (event on contemporary music in Barcelona) together with the soloists from Ibercàmera and the Chamber Orchestra of the Teatre Lliure (Free Theater Barcelona).
