Berkay Yilmaz

Berkay Yilmaz (born March 8, 1997 in Bielefeld ) is a German football and futsal player of Turkish descent.

Career

The goalkeeper began his career at VfB Schloß Holte and moved to Arminia Bielefeld's youth department in 2006 . At the age of 14, Berkay Yilmaz moved to FC Schalke 04 , before moving to SC Verl as an A-youth in 2014 . On May 7, 2016 he made his debut in the regional league team against Alemannia Aachen . At the end of the season, Yilmaz moved to the upper division FC Gütersloh and then a year later to the Westphalia division VfB Fichte Bielefeld , with whom Yilmaz was relegated in summer 2018. Yilmaz then returned to FC Gütersloh.

Berkay Yilmaz has been playing futsal for the MCH Futsal Club Sennestadt since 2015 . With the Sennestädter he was once champion and twice runner-up in the Futsalliga West , the top division. Yilmaz took part in the German futsal championship three times with the Sennestädtern , where the team reached the semi-finals once and the quarter-finals twice.
