Berlin, Keithstrasse 30 - From the files of the female criminal police is a 13-part crime series that was shown weekly on Tuesdays from January 1972 in the regional evening programs of the ARD . It was produced by Peter von Zahns Windrose Film- und Fernsehproduktions GmbH.
content
The Berlin State Criminal Police Office is located at Keithstrasse 30. The police officers Lotte Fliedner, Karin Schröder, Renate Höppner, Margot Hintze and Elisabeth Meissner work there. You work on cases committed by or against women or children. Blackmail, kidnapping, theft and rape are some of the crimes that the investigators sometimes have to deal with with psychological skill.
Others
The individual episodes were based on actual events that could be found in the police files. Among other things, the film was shot in the premises of the female criminal police.
With the broadcast of the series, the ARD reformed its early evening program so that from the beginning of 1972 on Tuesdays and Fridays, all regional broadcasters broadcast the same exclusively German series at roughly the same time.
For unknown reasons, some broadcasters only showed 12 of the total of 13 episodes, while Bayerischer Rundfunk only showed two rehearsal episodes. Those in charge of the program described the series as “unsuitable for our south. Too much reality is shown ”. In addition, it was feared that “the danger of imitation on the part of the children (...) would be greater with such a series”, “because they see a familiar milieu and people they meet every day”. Instead, the Munich broadcaster broadcast the American series In Love with a Witch .
