Bernard Bududira
Bernard Bududira (born August 1934 in Mushikanwa ; † November 19, 2005 in Bururi , Burundi ) was a Roman Catholic bishop . As the second bishop of Bururi , he was the first bishop to be born there.
Life
Bernard Bududira was ordained a priest on July 8, 1963 . When resignation of his predecessor Joseph Martin on September 17, 1973, he was appointed as his successor as Bishop of Bururi and received on 30 November in 1973 by the Archbishop of Gitega , André Makarakiza , the episcopal ordination ; Co- consecrators were Joseph Martin, Vicar Apostolic of Ngozi and Stanislas Kaburungu , Bishop of Ngozi.
He died in office on November 19, 2005.
