Bernard Daillencourt (* 1923 ; † 1992 ) was a French cameraman .

Bernard Daillencourt is best known for his work in the field of erotic film and here especially with the directors Walerian Borowczyk and David Hamilton . He made his first films in the mid-1950s. He created his first well-known works with the director Pierre-Alain Jolivet , including experimental films such as Vöglein, Vöglein, auf den Wand ( Le Grand cérémonial , 1969) and Punition - Whipped ( La Punition , 1973). In 1974 he began working with Borowczyk, with whom he wrote Immoral Stories ( Contes immoraux ), The Beast ( La Bête , 1975), Emanuela 77 ( La Merge , 1976) and Immoral Angels ( Les Héroïnes du mal , 1979). He worked with Hamilton on three of his four feature films and, along with film editor Henri Colpi, had a great influence on the design, as Hamilton, as a photographer, had only limited knowledge of the film business. Especially in the first film Bilitis (1977) the influence of the two was considerable. Other collaborations with Hamilton were The Story of Laura M (1979) and Tender Cousins (1980). Another well-known film is Aphrodite by Robert Fuest (1982). Daillencourt was no longer active since the mid-1980s.
