Bernard von Chrzanowski

Bernard von Chrzanowski (born July 27, 1861 in Wojnowice , Grätz district , † December 12, 1944 in Konstancin ) was a lawyer, Polish senator and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Chrzanowski attended the Mariengymnasium in Poznan and the universities in Krakow and Berlin . From 1885 he was a lawyer in Saxony and Thuringia and from 1890 in Posen. He was also president of the Polish gymnastics club Sokol . In 1919 he became Polish Undersecretary of State and from 1922 to 1928 he was curator of the Poznan School Board. In 1935 he became a Polish senator. He was also active in the scout movement.

From 1901 to 1909 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of Posen 1 administrative district (city of Posen).
