Bernd Ehinger

Bernd Ehinger (born October 12, 1944 in Flörsheim am Main ) is a German entrepreneur and craft functionary. He is President of the Hessian Crafts Day and acting President of the Rhine-Main Chamber of Crafts .

Life

He completed his school and apprenticeship as an electrician in Frankfurt am Main and passed the master's examination in electrical engineering in 1967. In 1970 he joined his parents' electrical company Elektro-Ehinger in Frankfurt, which he founded in 1906 and which he is managing director . In 2000, Ehinger was the spokesman for the executive committee of Eintracht Frankfurt eV and the founder of what is now Eintracht Frankfurt Fußball AG .

Ehinger has been a member of the Frankfurt electrical guild since 1972 and was its headmaster from 1990 to 2006. 1992 to 1998 he held the office of Vice President of the Central Association of German Electrical Trades. Since 1993 Ehinger has been Vice President of the employers' associations in the Hessian craft sector. From 1998 to 2000 he was chairman of the board of directors of Eintracht Frankfurt eV and has been a member of the supervisory board of Eintracht Frankfurt Fußball AG since 2000 . Since 2003 he has been a board member of the Rhine-Main Chamber of Crafts and from 1993 to 2005 state guild master of the Hesse electrical engineering association and, after the merger with the state association from Rhineland-Palatinate, from 2005 to 2008 he was president / state guild master in the association for electrical and information technology trades Hesse-Rhineland- Palatinate (FEHR). Ehinger has been President of the Rhine-Main Chamber of Crafts since 2005 (today: Chamber of Crafts Frankfurt-Rhein-Main) and since 2006 President of the Hessian Crafts Day (HHT).

In 2010 he was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit 1st Class and in 2014 the Hessian Order of Merit.
