Bernd Jöstingmeier

Bernd Jöstingmeier (* 1963 ) is a German economist .

biography

Jöstingmeier studied business administration (with a degree in business administration ) and law (with a degree in legal traineeship) at the Philipps University of Marburg , where he received his doctorate in 1994 with a dissertation on business ethics in internationally active companies . There he also studied the priority program "International Business Activities" with a certificate from the Department of Economics and worked at the chair for industrial management as a research assistant to Eberhard Dülfer especially in the field of international management.

He is the inventor of the entertainment format JDrumming, which is registered as a trademark at the German Patent and Trademark Office under the registration number 302010075147. JDrumming ("Jockey Drumming") consists of a combination of DJ music (from Disc Jockey = DJ ) and improvisations played over it by a drummer (Jockey Drummer = JD), who emphasizes the rhythmic elements of the respective song.

At the Technical University of Darmstadt , he gave guest lectures on “ Personnel Management and Leadership in Newly Founded Companies” in collaboration with the business start-up department of the Institute for Business Administration . In the summer semester of 2007 he was given a teaching position for technology and innovation management at the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt , and in the winter semester of 2008/2009 he was given a teaching position for “Human Resources Management” at the Stuttgart University of Technology . In 2010 he gave guest lectures at the Wilhelm Büchner University (Private Fernhochschule Darmstadt) and the University of Bremen .

He is a member of the scientific commissions "International Management " and " Technology , Innovation and Entrepreneurship " in the Association of University Lecturers for Business Administration (VHB).

He is a professor at the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University for personnel management , leadership , organization and innovation management . He is also an innovation advisor to the Innovius Institute for Innovation Management and Strategy, drummer under the artist name Professor BJ (synonymous for the initials of his name) and board member of the German Rock & Pop Musicians Association (DRMV) and board member of the German Pop Foundation.
