Bernd Kielburger

Bernd Kielburger (born August 24, 1947 in Pforzheim ) is a German politician ( SPD ).

Life and work

After graduating from high school in Karlsruhe , Bernd Kielburger studied at the Karlsruhe University of Education until 1971 . He then worked as a teacher in Königsbach-Stein until 1986 . Kielburger is married and has two children.

politics

From 1971 to 1989 Kielburger was a member of the local council in Remchingen and from 1973 to 1993 of the district council of the Enzkreis . In 1980 he was elected to the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg , to which he had a total of five legislative periods until 2001. There he represented constituency 44 (Enz). From 1990 to 2012 Kielburg was mayor of the municipality of Königsbach-Stein. He was re-elected in 1998 and 2006.

Honors

In 1998 Kielburger was honored with the Federal Cross of Merit, First Class .
