Bernd Klaußner (born July 11, 1940 in Adorf / Erzgeb. ) Is a German scientist, politician ( CDU ) and former member of the Saxon state parliament as well as a former member of the German Bundestag .

Life

Bernd Klaußner attended elementary school in Adorf and did an agricultural apprenticeship. Then he obtained his university entrance qualification at evening school . This was followed by studies at the LPG University of Meissen , which he completed in 1965 with the state examination to become a business economist. Klaußner was LPG chairman in Adorf. In 1968 and 1969 he worked at the Institute for Agriculture. This was followed in 1969 by an apprenticeship at the Academy for Political Science and Law of the GDR (ASR) in Potsdam . In 1973 he received his doctorate. rer. pole. Klaußner was a senior scientific assistant at the ASR until 1975 and from 1975 at the Technical University of Karl-Marx-Stadt . From 1980 to 1988 he was an EAW representative at the Economics Section.

Klaußner is Protestant, married and has two children.

Bernd Klaußner has been a member of the CDU since 1962. In 1964 and 1965 he was a member of the district board of the CDU Meißen and from 1965 a member of the district board of the CDU Karl-Marx-Stadt / Land. Between 1973 and 1989 Klaußner was a member of the “Local Politics” working group on the main board of the CDU. From 1976 to 1990 he was a member of the Karl-Marx-Stadt district assembly and deputy chairman of the STK “Construction”.

In October 1990, Bernd Klaußner was elected to the Saxon state parliament through constituency 64 (Chemnitz, Land II - Stollberg II) for an electoral period until 1994. There he was active in the Committee for Science and Universities and in the Petitions Committee. In 1994 Bernd Klaußner was elected to the German Bundestag for the 13th electoral term through the Chemnitz II - Chemnitz-Land constituency. There he was a full member of the Committee for Economic Cooperation and Development and an alternate member of the Petitions Committee and the Finance Committee.
