Bernd Ladwig

Bernd Ladwig (born August 7, 1966 in Cologne ) is a professor of political theory and philosophy at the Otto Suhr Institute (OSI) at the Free University of Berlin .

Professional biography

After graduating from high school in Weilheim , Ladwig studied political science at OSI from 1988 to 1994 and graduated with a diploma with the grade of “very good” (1.0). In 1999 he was with summa cum laude for Dr. phil. PhD at the Humboldt University of Berlin (with Herfried Münkler ) . After several years of work as a research assistant and assistant at the BBAW and Humboldt University in Berlin and Magdeburg , Ladwig received a junior professorship at the Otto Suhr Institute of the Free University of Berlin at the end of December 2004 . In February 2011 the junior professorship was converted into a W2 professorship.

Since July 2006, Bernd Ladwig has also been a liaison professor at the Heinrich Böll Foundation .
