Reviews

The Kölnische Rundschau wrote at the time

Even those who have heard the narrator and speaker trainer Bernd Poieß frequently for more than two decades are always surprised by the diverse possibilities of expression that are available to them. This goes from the most delicate piano to fortissimo . This ranges from poetry to fairy tales, sagas, anecdotes , the Schnurre, the ballad , the story to Faust and the Bible .

The Koblenzer Rheinpost judged one of Poiess' recitation events

The profound and yet very simple narrative material presented was of such natural freshness that Bernd Poieß thought that one had witnessed everything. Unstoppable applause thanked him (...). It was a mental tidbit that one couldn't wish for enough.

The Bochumer Westfalenpost spoke of "storms of enthusiasm", which Poieß triggered in many listeners, just as the Obersteirer spoke of a "unique experience" and the Lüneburger Landeszeitung of a lecture art that "in its versatility and heartfelt immediacy (... ) is unsurpassable ".
