Bernd Reichart

Bernd Reichart (born March 12, 1974 in Scheidegg ) is a German media manager . Since January 2019 he has been CEO and Chairman of the Management Board of Mediengruppe RTL Deutschland and a member of the Bertelsmann Group Management Committee.

Career

Bernd Reichart studied sports science and English in Konstanz, Salamanca (Spain) and at the University of North Carolina. After university he started his career in the sports marketing industry at UFA Sports (later Sportfive ) in Hamburg. In 2003 he moved to Madrid on behalf of the customer Siemens Mobile , where he was responsible for the implementation of Real Madrid's main sponsorship as Marketing Manager . From 2004 to 2007, as Head of Investor Relations, he was responsible for financial communications for the private media group Antena 3 (Spain) (now Atres media). From 2007 to 2013 he was Managing Director Multichannel at the Spanish channel family Antena 3 / Atresmedia, responsible for up to five free TV channels (NEOX, NOVA, NITRO, etc.). In 2012 he also became a member of the Patronage of Fundación Bertelsmann in Spain, chaired by Liz Mohn . A year later, Reichart returned to Germany. Bernd Reichart has been managing director of the private television broadcaster VOX and a member of the management team of Mediengruppe RTL Deutschland since February 2013 . In addition, from 2015 he was personally responsible for the first self-produced fiction series of the Cologne station, Club der rote Bänder , as Executive Producer . a. was awarded the German Television Prize and the Jupiter Award (2016/2017) twice and the Grimme Prize in 2016. Since January 2019 he has been CEO and Chairman of the Management Board of Mediengruppe RTL Deutschland and a member of the Bertelsmann Group Management Committee.
