Bernd Tramp

Bernd Tramp (born September 1, 1952 ) is a former German soccer player. In the 1970s he played for 1. FC Lokomotive Leipzig in the GDR Oberliga , the top division in GDR football . From 1969 to 1971 he was a junior international .

Athletic career

For the 1968/69 season, 16-year-old Bernd Tramp was accepted by 1. FC Lokomotive Leipzig in its junior league team . There he played until 1970, but was used in the 1970/71 season in five games of the GDR league. While he was called up in midfield on his first appearance in the encounter between 1. FC Union Berlin and 1. FC Lok (2: 1), he was used in attack in the following four games. With the exception of one game, he played the full length of the game. For the 1971/72 season Tramp was officially taken over into the league squad, but only came on two short appearances as a substitute. Instead, he played with the 2nd team in the third-rate district league , with which he rose to the GDR league at the end of the season . In the following years Tramp played exclusively in the 2nd team of 1. FC Lok until 1976, interrupted by a one-year reservist service in the National People's Army . In 1975 the 2nd team rose again from the district league. After the 2nd team was transferred to the junior league in 1976 and Tramp was no longer eligible to play there, he left 1. FC Lokomotive after seven league games and 29 GDR league appearances and with four goals scored and joined the GDR league activist Espenhain , where he met numerous other former Leipzig players.

In Espenhain Tramp rose at the beginning of the second half of the 1976/77 season, completed all eight league games and scored three goals. After that he was a member of the BSG activist squad for three seasons, playing 61 out of 66 games in the GDR league. He scored another 18 goals, with eight hits in 1977/78 he was most successful. In 1980/81 Tramp played his last season in high-class football with the BSG activist Espenhain. He was only used with five league games in the first half of the season, the BSG rose from the GDR league at the end of the season. In 1983 he was the district cup winner with activist Espenhain, and from 1986 to 1988 he was the team's trainer.
