Bernhard Bohtz

Karl Bernhard Bohtz (born August 9, 1837 in Warsin ; † March 24, 1900 in Drossen ) was a manor owner, district administrator and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Bohtz attended the pedagogy in Züllichau and the University of Berlin . In 1860 he took over his father's Schmagorei estate and was proposed to the district council by the district assembly. In April 1874 the administration of the Weststernberg district was provisionally transferred to him, and in November of the same year it was definitively transferred. He remained district administrator until 1899.

He was also a member of the Prussian House of Representatives from 1877 until his death . As a member of parliament, he represented the constituency of Frankfurt an der Oder 5 (West and Oststernberg). He was a member of the Brandenburg Provincial Landtag since 1876. He was also a member of the Brandenburg Provincial Synod and District Fire Society Director.

From 1888 to 1898 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the Sternberg constituency and the German Conservative Party .
