Bernhard Federle (born August 20, 1820 in Tiengen ; † April 7, 1863 there ) was a German painter .

On November 29, 1845, the artist, who was born in Tiengen as the son of a tax perequator , enrolled in the subject of painting at the Munich Art Academy ; nothing else is known about his further work and life. An oil painting, Two mourning women at the grave of Christ , signed in 1853 after an (apparently lost painting) by Philipp Veit , is in the Augustinermuseum Freiburg. Also known are three portraits and an oil painting of lovers in Hotzenwald costume as well as a lithograph with a view of Waldshut from the reel .
