Bernhard Heinrich Wehmeyer

Bernhard Heinrich Wehmeyer (born March 16, 1809 in Schwerin ; † May 13, 1880 there ) was a lawyer and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Wehmeyer attended the Fridericianum high school in Schwerin and studied law from 1828 to 1832 in Jena and Rostock . From 1832 he was a lawyer and from 1856 to 1869 a member of the management of the Mecklenburg Life Insurance and Savings Bank. From 1846 he was a member of the Schwerin Citizens Committee and during this period was its chairman for 21 years. In 1848 and 1849 he was a member of the Mecklenburg parliamentary assembly elected in the constituency of Mecklenburg-Schwerin 7.

From 1877 to 1878 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of Mecklenburg 2 (Schwerin, Wismar ) and the National Liberal Party .
