Bernhard Joseph Kripp

Bernhard Joseph Kripp zu Prunberg and Krippach (born November 11, 1896 in Innsbruck , † April 20, 1980 in Meran ) was an Austrian ambassador .

Life

Joseph Kripp was the son of Sigismund von Kripp, attended the Consular Academy in Vienna, entered the foreign service in 1921 and became an attaché in Paris , and was employed in Zurich , Prague and Budapest . When Austria was annexed , the law to restore the civil service was also applied there and Joseph Kripp was retired . From 1945 to 1946 he was a member of the Legation, at the end of 1946 he was sent to Prague and in 1947 he was employed in the Federal Chancellery. From 1949 to 1951 he was ambassador to Santiago de Chile and accredited to the government of Peru , Bolivia and Ecuador . From April 30, 1952 to 1961, he was ambassador to the Holy See .
