The Beroe Hill (English; Bulgarian хълм Берое chalm Beroe ) is a 400 m high hill on Livingston Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It forms 4.7 km north-northeast of Rezen Knoll and 3 km northwest of Hemus Peak the southwestern extension of the Gleaner Heights .
Bulgarian scientists mapped it between 2004 and 2005 when surveying the Tangra Mountains . The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2005 after the Thracian city of Beroe , which is now in the urban area of Stara Sagora in central Bulgaria .
