Bert rice field
Bert Reisfeld (born December 12, 1906 in Vienna , † June 12, 1991 in Badenweiler ) was an Austrian composer .
He composed serious music first, then popular music. He was of Jewish origin and emigrated from Berlin to France in 1933. From 1938 he lived in the USA.
Reisfeld also wrote German texts for English-language songs. For example Nancy Sinatra's These Boots Are Made for Walkin ' as Die Stiefel sind zum wandern , recorded by Eileen Goldsen and Earl Grants (At) The End (Of A Rainbow) as Every dream has an end , by Earl Grant himself, Lolita , Roland Kaiser , Udo Jürgens and others.
