Berthold Lindner

Berthold Lindner (born April 7, 1937 in Hainichen ) is a German commercial artist and designer .

Life

Berthold Lindner completed an apprenticeship as a machine fitter from 1952 to 1954 . From 1960 to 1963 he studied at the Magdeburg School of Applied Arts, specializing in commercial graphics . He then worked as a commercial artist at Dkk Scharfenstein in 1963/1964 and at DEWAG Karl-Marx-Stadt from 1964 to 1967 . Since 1967 he was freelance and a member of the Association of Visual Artists of the GDR . Among other things, he also designed postage stamps .
