Berthold Naarmann

Berthold Naarmann (born March 31, 1930 in Oelde ; † September 7, 2017 in Paderborn ) was a German bank manager.

Berthold Naarmann was the founding director of the loan office in the Archdiocese of Paderborn eG in 1972 and was a managing member of the board until 1998, including long chairman of the bank. In 1998 he initiated the reorganization of the Bank for Church and Caritas eG .

From 1999 to 2006 he was chairman of the Caritas Association Paderborn . For many years he was diocesan finance curator of the Malteser Hilfsdienst in the Archdiocese of Paderborn.

Berthold Naarmann was involved in numerous social projects in the Holy Land . In 1980 he was appointed Knight of the Order of the Knights of the Holy Sepulcher by Cardinal Grand Master Maximilien de Fürstenberg and invested in the Papal Lay Order on May 10, 1980 in St. Paulus Cathedral in Münster by Franz Cardinal Hengsbach , Grand Prior of the German Lieutenancy . Most recently he was Commander of the Order. He was a member of the German Association of the Holy Land .

Berthold Naarmann was married to the historian Margit Naarmann born in 1967. Siebers (1930-2016); the marriage has two children.
