The Besa River is a right tributary of the Prophet River in the Peace River Regional District in the northern Canadian province of British Columbia .

The Besa River rises on the southern flank of the Great Snow Mountain in the Muskwa Ranges , a part of the northern Canadian Rocky Mountains . It initially flows in a south-easterly direction and flows through Redfern Lake . He turns north shortly afterwards. At the confluence of Kelly Creek , it changes direction again to the east. The Besa River is now leaving Redfern-Keily Provincial Park . After the Neves Creek flows into the Besa River, the Besa River flows north again. Eventually it meets the Prophet River flowing west. The Besa River has a length of about 110 km.
