The company health insurance Siemag (Siemag BKK) is an open company health insurance based in Hilchenbach . Membership is possible for anyone who lives and / or works in North Rhine-Westphalia, Baden-Württemberg, Bavaria, Brandenburg, Hamburg, Hesse, Rhineland-Palatinate and Saxony.
The BKK has its origins in the following companies: Gebr. Klein, Dahlbruch (1858); Siemag (1939).
Contribution rates
Since January 1, 2009 the contribution rates have been standardized by the legislator. Until December 31, 2014, the BKK did not levy any additional contribution that is independent of the health insurance fund . As of January 1, 2015, it will levy an income-related additional contribution of 0.7 percent of the contributory income. From January 1, 2017, this income-related additional contribution was adjusted to an above-average 1.4 percent of the contributory income.
history
The SIEMAG company health insurance fund was founded on July 1, 1858. On January 1, 2008, it merged with the company health insurance fund of Waldrich Siegen Werkzeugmaschinen GmbH, which was established on June 12, 1924.
According to the decision of the Board of Directors on May 6, 2013 (amendment to the Articles of Association), the health insurance fund has the abbreviation "SIEMAG BKK", with which it has officially appeared since June 24, 2013 with a changed corporate design.
