Bettina Berens
Bettina Berens (born September 2, 1973 ) is a former German soccer player .
Career
societies
Berens was active for TuS Ahrbach , with whom she was promoted to the Bundesliga in the 1991/92 season . After six years in the group south and as the last of ten participating teams, the relegation to the league was certain - and also their career end.
Two years earlier, however, when she was the team captain, she finished second with the team behind FSV Frankfurt and thus took part in the final round of the German championship . The two semi-finals against Grün-Weiß Brauweiler were both lost 3: 9 in the overall result.
National team
On April 18, 1992, she played her only international match for the senior national team . In the friendly against the Italian national team , which ended in a 1-1 draw in Rome, she was substituted for Judith Roth in the 38th minute.
