The Betzel Cove is a side bay of Wylie Bay on the southwestern coast of Anvers Island in the Palmer Archipelago . It is east-northeast of Dream Island .

The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named the bay in 1998 after Alfred P. Betzel, project manager for oceanography in the National Science Foundation's polar program from 1974 to 1986 and contact person for the provision of icebreakers for the United States Coast Guard in Antarctic waters.
