District of Brussels-outskirts
The district of Brussels-Randgemeinden (Dutch Arrondissement Brussel-Randgemeenten , also Arrondissement-Brussel-Rand ) was a district in Belgium that existed from 1963 to 1970.
The district was created in 1963 by the provisions of the Second Language Act of August 2, 1963, when it was separated from the dissolved district of Brussels . It had an area of 50.78 km². Six parishes belonged to it, which did not form a contiguous area. They bordered the new Brussels-Capital district .
