Bherimalika ( Nepali भेरीमालिका ) is a city ( municipality ) in western Nepal in the Jajarkot district .
Bherimalika lies above the Bheri river valley at an altitude of 1225 m . The city was created in 2015 by amalgamating the Village Development Committees Bhur , Jagatipur , Khalanga and Punama . The city administration is located in Khalanga. There is also the seat of the district administration.
Residents
In the 2011 census, the VDCs, from which the city of Bherimalika emerged, had 33,515 inhabitants (16,458 of them male) in 6590 households.
