Bhulabhai Desai
Bhulabhai Jivanji Desai ( Hindi भूलाभाई जीवनजी देसाई ; born October 13, 1877 in Valsad , † May 6, 1946 in New Delhi ) was an Indian independence activist and renowned lawyer .
Life
He was on the defense team of three Indian National Army soldiers charged with treason . Desai was unable to custody due to illness, which is why he belonged to the manageable circle of capable politicians under the British colonial regime . He accepted the task that had been given to him, to seek a cross-religious unit of an independent India.
The name of a street in southern Mumbai was dedicated to him, which is called Breach Candy or Warden Road . ( Bhula Bhai Desai Marg ) His only child Dhirajlal Bhulabhai Desai became a diplomat.
