Bibrastrasse 1; Landwehrstrasse 2 (Bad Kissingen)
The property at Bibrastrasse 1; Landwehrstraße 2 in Bad Kissingen , the major district town of the Lower Franconian district of Bad Kissingen , is one of the Bad Kissingen architectural monuments and is registered in the Bavarian list of monuments under the number D-6-72-114-309 .
history
The property is the former clubhouse of the tower community. It was built in 1913 as a three-storey mansard roof in the late Art Nouveau style . With the mansard roof and the grooved pilasters , it has some Baroque elements, but overall it represents the rigor of composition and the geometrical decor of the time before the First World War .
The architect was not, as mentioned in some places, the Bad Kissingen architect Franz Krampf (brother of Carl Krampf ), but the Bad Kissingen architect Leonhard Ritter . Leonhard Ritter had created an album with photos on which he can be seen in front of the buildings he designed; This album also contains a corresponding photo of the property at Landwehrstraße 2.
The associated gym, also built in 1913, is located behind the property.
