Beer at Lublina
Biernat z Lublina (more rarely Biernat von Lublin ) (* around 1465 , † after 1529 ) was a Polish poet , fable writer and doctor .
Along with Mikołaj Rej and Jan Kochanowski, he was one of the first Polish-speaking writers of Polish literature to be known by name .
Biernat is the author and translator of the first known Polish-language prayer book Raj duszny , which was printed in 1513 by Florian Ungler in Krakow and is the oldest surviving book printed entirely in Polish.
But Biernat also wrote secular works, and is even considered an anti-clerical critic of the hierarchical church.
