The Bies 2 residential building is a half-timbered house in the Höhe residential area of the Vohwinkel district of Wuppertal .
Building description
The two-storey house is part of the historical building of the old settlement area Bies ('Hinterste Bies') and is one of the oldest buildings in Vohwinkel. The Lower Monument Authority estimates that this building was built around 1800.
The house with a gable roof is accessed from the north-western gable side , to the left of the entrance there is a window. The facades on the ground floor are plastered, the gable ends and the upper floor on the south-western side are boarded up.
Despite the poor state of preservation and despite the changes to the building, the building was entered as a monument on March 29, 1985 in the list of monuments of the city of Wuppertal.
