The Big Badja River is a small river in the southeast of the Australian state of New South Wales .

It rises northeast of Badja (consisting of the districts Little Badja and Big Badja ) on the western edge of the Deua National Park on the Great Dividing Range . From there the Big Badja River flows southwest and flows into the Numeralla River at Numeralla .

The swampy headwaters of the river and its tributary Peppers Creek forms the Badja Swamps Nature Reserve , a state nature reserve below Big Badja Hill within the boundaries of Deua National Park.
