Ralph Wieser
Ralph Wieser (* 1961 in Vienna ) is an Austrian film producer and co-founder of the production company Mischief Films , based in Vienna's inner city .
Life
Ralph Wieser studied psychology at the University of Vienna and in Linz and has worked with Judith Wieser-Huber since 1988 as a cinema operator (1988–1996 Arthouse Kino Filmbühne Mödling ). In 1996 he founded After Image Productions with her .
He works as a cultural organizer, organizer of film series and open air cinema and producer.
In 2002 he founded the production company Mischief Films together with Georg Misch . The focus of the work of Mischief Films is on documentaries , international co-productions as well as the cooperation with up - and-coming authors who should be given the opportunity to develop their own signature. In recent years, 14 documentaries have been made in collaboration with international co-producers and TV stations such as BBC , Channel 4 , arte , ORF , WDR , 3sat , ITVS and others. Mischief films have been invited to numerous festivals around the world and have received awards.
Ralph Wieser is a board member of Dok.at - (Austrian Documentary Film Interest Group ), member of AAFP ( Association of Austrian Filmproducers ) and EDN - (European Documentary Network), and a graduate of Eurodoc.
