Ivette Löcker

Ivette Löcker (* 1970 in Bregenz ) is an Austrian director and production manager . She is mainly active in the field of documentary film .

Life

Löcker studied Slavic Studies (Russian), Eastern European history and sociology . Since 1998 she has been working as an assistant director, production coordinator and production manager, and since 2006 as a director and author. At the Diagonale film festival in 2011 she was awarded the Great Diagonale Prize for night shifts . In 2017 she received the Grand Diagonale Prize in the documentary film section for What binds us .

Her film Nachtschichten was also included in the edition Der Österreichische Film .
