Bilal Aziz Özer (born July 1, 1985 in Beirut ) is a Turkish - Lebanese soccer player who grew up in Germany .
Career
Aziz began his career in the youth of TSV Verden and then moved to FC Schalke 04 . In 2002 he became German champions with the B youth team at FC Schalke 04. From 2004 to 2006 he played for the second team of FC Schalke 04 before moving to VfL Osnabrück . He played there 26 regional league games, in which he scored two goals. At the end of the 2006/07 season he rose to the second Bundesliga with VfL and made his first professional appearance on September 2, 2007 against Borussia Mönchengladbach . From the 2008/09 season, Bilal Aziz played for the Turkish first division club Kayserispor .
On January 10, 2010, Kayserispor suspended Aziz, as he was suspected of having engaged in match-fixing, although the allegedly manipulated game was won by Kayserispor. Bilal Aziz was arrested at Adana Airport on May 27, 2010 . There was an arrest warrant.
For the second half of the 2011/12 season, Aziz first moved to the third division Konya Şekerspor and then for the 2012/13 season to the Turkish second division Torku Konyaspor . With the beginning of the winter transfer period 2012/13 he moved to the second division Kayseri Erciyesspor .
After mutual agreement with the club's management, he dissolved his contract and left Erciyesspor. A few days after he left Erciyesspor, his move to the new second division team Ankaraspor was announced. The main reason for this change was the fact that Osman Özköylü , his coach from his time at Erciyesspor, now coached Ankaraspor.
In the summer of 2016 he moved to the second division Eskişehirspor . After this club could no longer pay their wages due to the poor financial situation, Aziz moved to Istanbul third division club Fatih Karagümrük SK in summer 2018 together with his teammate Erkan Zengin . Here he and his team achieved the play-off victory of the TFF 2nd Lig at the end of the season and thus promotion to the TFF 1st Lig . After this success he could not agree with this club to extend his contract, so he moved to Bugsaşspor for the new season .
