The Weissacher Tal education center , abbreviated to Bize, is a network school in Weissach im Tal offering three types of school : grammar school , secondary school and community school . It is a European school and since 2008 a school without racism . Today the school is attended by over 1,300 students who are taught by 130 teachers. The school management consists of the high school director Simone Klitzing, the high school director Jürgen Wörner and Ralf Bachmeier, who heads the community school.
School history
The construction cost the communities Auenwald , Allmersbach im Tal , Weissach im Tal and Althütte a total of just over 38 million DM. The Weissacher Tal education center was opened in 1975 and had 334 students at the time.

The education center is an open, all-day school with classes from 7:25 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Bilingual train
In the bilingual train of the grammar school, two additional hours of instruction in English are given voluntarily in every school year from the 6th grade onwards. In the 7th, 8th, and 12th grade is 11 geography , in the 8th and 9th grade history and in the 10th grade biology taught in English. In the 6th school year there is a trial phase for the bilingual class. Only at the end of the 6th grade do you have to finally decide whether you want to stay in the bilingual class or not. Then the classes are divided into bilingual and non-bilingual students.
School as a state
In February 2012, the Weissacher Tal education center was the first network school to take part in the School as a State project .

An educational partnership has existed with the Barmer GEK Stuttgart since 2014 .
