The Bilfinger Berger Power Services GmbH , headquartered in Oberhausen is one of five business areas of construction and services group Bilfinger .

On June 17, 2015, the Bilfinger parent company announced that it wanted to part with Bilfinger Power Systems and was looking for a buyer.

Numerous companies in Germany and abroad operate under the umbrella of Bilfinger Power Systems. The core business of the subgroup is power plant technology in the areas of steam generators , energy and environmental technology , pipeline technology as well as machine and apparatus engineering . In these business areas, Bilfinger Power Systems GmbH offers not only maintenance , repairs and maintenance, but also, above all, sophisticated measures to extend the service life, increase efficiency and rehabilitate power plants .

Another focus of the group of companies is new construction, renovation and the delivery of components - partly from its own production facilities. A dense branch network links the activities in the most important markets of the group: Germany , Europe as well as the Middle East and South Africa .

The group currently (as of early 2013) employs around 9800 people.
