William "Bill" Frederic Burr (born June 10, 1968 in Canton , Massachusetts ) is an American stand-up comedian , actor , writer , musician , producer, podcaster and social critic . He has produced six of his own comedy specials. Outside of the stand-up, he moderates the Monday Morning Podcast and played the role of Patrick Kuby in the AMC crime series Breaking Bad and in the animated sitcom F is for Family on Netflix . Burr is also a co-founder of the All Things Comedy Network. In 2017, Rolling Stone magazine ranked Burr 17th on the list of the 50 best stand-up comedians of all time. He also played the role of Mayfeld in the Disney + series The Mandalorian .

The Rolling Stone magazine called Burr "the undisputed heavyweight champion of anger comedy". The New York Times described Burr in 2013 as "one of the funniest and most distinctive voices in the country for years". Burr names George Carlin , Bill Cosby , Sam Kinison , Patrice O'Neal and Richard Pryor as his formative comedy influences.
